About Platform 13

Platform 13 began as a small place to put the things we kept thinking about.

Notes. Conversations. Questions. Observations about getting older, starting again, belonging, relationships, place, change, food, France, and the peculiar business of being human.

What began as a journal gradually became something larger: a book, a community, Soulstice Society, gatherings, dinners and conversations. Increasingly, a home for ideas and experiences we want to put into the world.

We didn’t really set out to build a “brand”. Platform 13 has grown more like a house does - one room at a time, as we discovered what was needed next.

What Platform 13 has become

Same house. Different doors.

Platform 13 has gently grown into several connected parts, each offering a different way in.

Postcards is where we write - essays, observations and stories about the things that catch our attention, or catch us off guard, while we're getting on with the business of being human.

Soulstice Society creates the space for conversations to turn inward - towards community, identity, belonging, connection and the question of what comes next.

Can we talk about... Our library of podcasts will take conversations off the page and put people around actual tables - informal conversations, ideas, dinners and, eventually, short, residential workshop experiences.

The Shop is beginning to collect the things that grow naturally out of this world - books, journals, useful objects, collaborations and whatever else earns its place on the shelf.

Some people will only ever read a Postcard. Others may come to dinner, join a conversation, discover Soulstice or just buy a book.

There isn't a right way through any of it.

Come in where you're curious. Stay where you feel connected. Leave with something real.
