Rooted in the French countryside, Platform 13 has grown into a living project exploring how we gather, create, and reconnect - through design, conversation, shared experiences, and the quiet courage to live differently.
It is less a destination than a meeting place: for ideas, for people, and for the many chapters of a life still unfolding.
Platform 13 is shaped and guided by Vanessa and John, partners in both life and work, whose shared belief is that the environments we create influence how we feel, how we connect, and how we move through the world. What began as a personal exploration has gradually evolved into a shared project, bringing together design, conversation, and community to create spaces where people can pause, reflect, and rediscover a sense of belonging.
Vanessa’s work is rooted in a lifelong curiosity about the relationship between environment, emotion, and belonging. With more than two decades of experience in design, she creates spaces that invite calm, curiosity, and connection. At Platform 13, she guides the creative and philosophical direction, shaping experiences that encourage reflection, beauty, and the quiet courage to live differently.
John brings a grounding presence to Platform 13, translating vision into structure and sustainability. With a background in strategy and operations, he focuses on building thoughtful foundations that allow ideas to grow and endure over time. His work ensures that Platform 13 remains not only an inspiration, but a living project - one capable of evolving while staying true to its purpose.
